Wanderer above the Sea of Fog: A hike in "Saxonian Switzerland" National Park
This hike is meant to take us beyond the convention and place us on the trail of German romanticism in the sandstone hills of the Elbe. Caspar David Friedrich’s painting “Wanderer above the Sea of Fog” will serve as our point of reference. Other images might also be called to mind in this same way, however.
The hike will take about 4 hours, plus the train ride to Wehlen and back from Kurort Rathen. Please bring sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing for inclement weather. We will announce the meeting point and departure time. Dietmar Selig will lead the hike, who is a solution-focused art-therapist.
Please register in the conference office at the 23th of September. Fee is 5 € for train tickets.
